The Washington Middle School for Girls is an independent Catholic School, privately financed, serving an at-risk population in the Southeast quadrant of Washington, DC. WMSG is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the Nativity Miguel Network of Schools. WMSG provides a caring and safe environment for young girls, grades 4 through 8, who are living in an under-served urban area and are at risk of leaving school prematurely. Students receive a solid and holistic education, featuring intellectual challenge, respect for diversity, and support for the spiritual, social and emotional growth of each student. WMSG works with each student to identify the best high school placement and tracks her progress throughout.
