The OpEd Project is a social venture founded to enrich and expand public discourse, by increasing the range of voices we hear from, and the quality of ideas that inform the important conversations of our day and age. Our immediate goal is to increase the volume of women thought leaders in the public sphere to a tipping point. Working with top universities, think tanks, nonprofits, corporations and community organizations across the nation, we scout and train women and other under-represented experts across the nation to take thought leadership positions in their fields (op-eds, radio and TV spots, TED talks, and much more); we connect them with our national network of high-level mentors in the media; and we vet channel the best new experts and ideas directly to media gatekeepers across all platforms.
