Description
HELP US SAVE US (H.U.S.U) is an independent non-profit organization that is currently working in Haiti where there is a desire need of more schools. H.U.S.U is providing sustainable solutions for children affected by the aftermath of the disastrous earthquake that occurred in the month of January 2010 and seeking solutions to help these children not become a victim of poverty. We are located in Irvington, New Jersey, and Saint Raphael, Haiti. Our team travels to Haiti at least six times a year for our goals are to help build a school and to revitalize community centers that will preoccupy the children with academic materials and artistic activities.
The project supports younger children through the early years of their educational lives, in a safe and caring environment. Working with the children is extremely challenging, but very rewarding as every day is full of fun and laughter.
