About Us

AFTA Society is a non-profit organization that aims at improving the life of individuals and help families who are affected by ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder – or "AFTA" in Arabic) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The ADHD Support Group was established by Dr. Suad Yamani on June 3, 2004 and received charitable status as the ADHD Society on September 18, 2008. We currently have three branches: Riyadh, Jeddah, and Alkhobar.

We at AFTA Society help by providing families knowledge and training to acquire skills that are necessary to support their ADHD child to reach his or her maximum potential. We also strive to make diagnosis and treatment of ADHD available in different regions of the Kingdom through training of physicians in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. AFTA envisions providing every parent, teacher and caregiver in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the most recent information on ADHD symptoms, the latest scientific breakthroughs, state-of-the-art technology and modern therapeutic procedures for treatment, intervention, and support.
