Episcopal Relief & Development is the international relief and development agency of the Episcopal Church that works through development agencies of global Anglican Communion to fight poverty and disease. Guided by the Church's principles of compassion, dignity and generosity, we reach two million people across 40 countries annually.
Working alongside local leaders and community members, we support local, long-term initiatives that address poverty, hunger, disease, economic development and disaster response where the need is greatest. We serve communities in some of the most remote areas of the world, as well as in urban environments where extreme poverty persists.
We are working toward a world where the hungry are fed, the ill are healed, the young educated, women and men treated equally, and where all have access to clean water and adequate sanitation, basic health care, and the promise of development that does not endanger the rest of creation.
