About Us

In January of 2007, Harrison County HFH and HFH of Jackson County merged organizations to form HFH of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, serving all of Harrison and Jackson counties. Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast has 170 homes completed or under construction since hurricane Katrina and is committed to serving families in need. We're working hard to achieve our mission to build 800-1000 homes by 2012.

Visit our website -- www.hfhmgc.org -- for more information about our organization and the rebuilding effort along the Gulf Coast. You will find information about our organization including information about volunteering with or donating to HFHMGC. In the aftermath of Katrina, more than 50,000 volunteers from around the country came to the coast to support rebuilding efforts. Much was accomplished, but the job's far from done. In order to fulfill our mission to construct 800+ homes in the next 5 years, we need an ongoing commitment from people across the globe.
