Enterprise Development Trust Corporation (EDTC or Enterprise Development) is a rising not for profit organization based in the disadvantaged communities of Boston, MA. In the next three-years Enterprise Development will bring a unique and comprehensive model for economic development through entrepreneurship to disadvantaged and rural communities across the country and will work with grassroots economic development NGOs in 3 developing countries to pilot the program abroad.
Enterprise Development's unique service model includes training for those of us who want to work for and support microeconomic development and for those of us who want to build successful businesses. Enterprise Development also offers comprehensive services that build microenterprises into viable small businesses, which are positioned to exploit economies of scale.
We provide direct solutions to entrepreneurs and microenterprise owners and work with community-based organizations and institutions, wherever possible, to provide entrepreneurship training, expert coaching and support services. These support services include comprehensive back office support, research financial management, forecasting, planning and marketing.
Enterprise Development was founded by Hajar Logan who has an extensive background in providing small business and microenterprise clients with customer service management, business process development, marketing, strategic planning and writing. Our board includes Dr. Hyat Khizar Said a funded economic development expert from rural Pakistan, Dr. June Roberts (experienced educator) Maryam Abdul-Rahim, MSc (Accountant and small business financial management expert) and others with experience in grassroots nonprofit work, women's empowerment and workforce development.
