The Kiwanis Club of NYC Young Professionals is a group of individuals who are interested in community service and networking. The club was formed in 2001 and members include professionals from several different fields (finance, arts, education, legal, government, non-profit, insurance, health, etc.) We formally hold club meetings once a month. In addition, we perform one or two varied and interesting service projects each month and try to remain flexible to accomodate everyone's busy schedule. Although our current membership is young in age, we are looking for members of any age who are "young at heart."
We are part of an international service organization called Kiwanis International. Based in the borough of Manhattan in New York City, our goal is to serve the local community with a hands-on approach and to help develop the leaders of tomorrow by sponsoring two Key Clubs (high school sponsored organization) and co-sponsoring two Circle K Clubs (college sponsored organization).
