The Civic Education Project (CEP) is an award-winning leadership and civic engagement program based at Northwestern University's Center for Talent Development.
CEP combines hands-on education and community service to promote civic responsibility among young people. Through its CivicWeek, Civic Leadership Institute and CivicAction programs, CEP has been training and inspiring students to become active, engaged citizens for nearly 15 years.
CEP also offers teacher training and support for service-learning efforts. Since the program's founding in 1997, over 3,800 students have participated in 280 projects and dedicated more than 95,000 total hours to service in host communities throughout the country.
