Women's Initiative for Self Employment

Women's Initiative for Self Employment is a private, non-profit agency providing comprehensive business training, on-going technical aassistance and financing to low-income Bay Area women who are interested in owning their own businesses. Our mission is to build the capacity of low-income women of diverse ethnic and social backgrounds in becoming economically self-sufficient through entrepreneurial activity.

Women's Initiative's programs are designed to assist an entrepreneur in gaining the necessary skills to start, grow and/or expand her business. Our programs link women with the skills, information, and financing they need to establish or expand small businesses that reflect their personal and financial goals.
