help2kids offers parentless children the opportunity for education, nutrition, and a place to live. We strive to alleviate poverty a little, and, simultaneously we are actively commited to improving the living conditions for children in Tanzania and Malawi. We strive to give young people a lasting perspective that will help them to achieve a better life.

We run community projects in Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) and Leopard Bay (Malawi). In Dar es Salaam we run a children's home and we support local nursery and primary schools by sending help2kids volunteers and providing educational supplies. Also in Leopard Bay we support nursery and primary schools and we work with a local clinic. Please see here for more information about our projects: www.help2kids.org.

We are always looking for motivated people willing to volunteer with us. We provide a nice, clean and safe accommodation at our Friendly Gecko Guest Houses. Since we are also running several community projects in Tanzania and Malawi, we offer our volunteers to choose from a wide range of volunteer work. The volunteers can also choose to work in both countries (Tanzania and Malawi) and they will experience completely different faces of East-Africa. Moreover we offer our volunteers the option to make holidays in both guest houses for free. So for example you may choose to work in Malawi and you can make a 2-week-trip to Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) for no extra costs for accommodation.
