About Us
Lake Washington Girls Middle School is empowering girls to be strong in mind, body, and voice.
Located in Seattle's North Beacon Hill, Lake Washington Girls Middle School is a place where students explore, discover, create, and learn about themselves and the world around them. Since 1998, LWGMS saw the need for an all-girls education in this community and has an innovative and holistic approach to educating adolescent girls (anyone who identifies as or has been socialized as a girl.)
The size and dynamic of the L-DUB community offers the ability to impact in meaningful ways. Students are nurtured and empowered to reach their academic, social, and emotional potential in a supportive, inclusive, and girl-forward learning environment where members of our community are active partners in inspiring leadership, social responsibility, and self-confidence.
