Cancer Connection

  • About Us

    “You Have Cancer.”

Cancer Connection volunteers know how it feels to hear these words. We are cancer survivors or family members who have cared for a loved one with cancer. We understand, and are here to offer support, encouragement and most of all hope to others who are now facing cancer.

In addition to one-on-one mentoring, our volunteers visit with patients in local oncology centers and hospitals. Through these unique services, volunteers are able to provide comfort, support and informational resources to cancer patients and their families.

Cancer Connection volunteers are trained to help others cope with the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the cancer experience.
