Description

Winter Wildlands Alliance is a national organization promoting and protecting winter wildlands and a quality human-powered snowsports experience on public lands.

Winter Wildlands Alliance is the voice of the human-powered snowsports recreationist. To activate this voice, Winter Wildlands organizes and trains local skiers and snowshoers to work on behalf of a specific forest or region through forest travel planning efforts, habitat protection, and development of human-powered winter recreation opportunities.

We also work with snowshoe and ski manufacturers to develop winter ecology programs for kids.
