Description

No one should have to suffer or die alone; Maitri's mission is to provide compassionate residential care to men and women in need of hospice or 24-hour nursing care, and to cultivate the deepest respect and love for life among its residents and caregivers.

Maitri is a fifteen-bed residential care facility for people living with AIDS, offering a range of services from skilled nursing care, hospice, and transitional care for people with advanced AIDS.

Volunteering at Maitri provides you with invaluable experience in caring for another, with opportunities ranging from escorting to doctor's appointments to sitting by the bedside.
