Various exciting projects planned for 2012 at remote villages in the Western Ghat mountains of South India. Join our team of selected volunteers from around the world in planning, designing and implementing sustainable projects where help is really needed.

Whether you are looking to take a few weeks/months break, a year out, have recently graduated or currently between jobs; Yearoutindia volunteering programs give you the chance to take some time off to spend meaningful time travelling, living, working and exploring India.

All programs are based in rural communities where help is really needed and the programs are not touristy, but real long term sustainable projects supported and run by volunteers themselves. The reasonable volunteer fees contribute directly to the projects and volunteers can bring their skills & experience or just plain motivation and enthusiasm to contribute positively to the ongoing projects at some of the most beautiful and pristine locations in South India.

Yearoutindia was founded in association with teaching, community development and conservation enthusiasts to supplement the efforts of local conservation and community development organisations involved at grass root here in South India. We are a non-profit organisation run by volunteers.A real learning and life changing experience recommended for anyone with a few weeks spare to do something different & amazing in a spectacularly colourful & vibrant country.
