Urban Design On-line Library

capitol hill, DC | udo-library.blogspot.com/

About Us

UDO is a group of enthusiastic urban designers who are building a free on-line library of sustainable urban design projects built since 1980. The purpose of this library is to offer free access to excellent international urban design precedents that integrate best practice standards and provide sustainable design solutions to students, practitioners, and city planners. The library will be a powerful research tool that integrates intuitive, multi-criteria search capabilities, and allows users to review, collect, organize information, as well as share their portfolios and network. Making good urban design and planning projects accessible will be a tremendous help to the practice of urban design as well as an efficient tool to build awareness about the environments we live in and often take for granted.
