About us

Around 40,000 students from 150 countries currently study at The University of Nottingham's campuses in China, Malaysia and the UK. The University is one of the most popular in the UK, with an average of nine applications per place every year.

We offer a comprehensive range of around 400 degree programmes. Dedicated teaching faculties provide excellent undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Both research and taught opportunities are available for postgraduate students.

Nottingham prides itself on an excellent international reputation, built on a commitment to attracting the best students and academics from across the globe. The University's emphasis on research excellence was recognised in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise, with the study ranking Nottingham as the seventh most powerful research university in the UK.

Any academic experience at Nottingham is an international one. All students are encouraged to take advantage of our extensive Study Abroad and exchange schemes. As well as experiencing life on the China and Malaysia campuses, students can spend time in Europe or travel to Australia, Canada and the USA as part of the U21 network.

A range of scholarships are available for international students and the University's Centre for Career Development can help you find work in the UK.
