About Us
Our
mission at Arts Gowanus is to support, promote, and advocate for artists and a
sustainable local arts community. We are
best known for organizing Gowanus Open Studios every October. We also bring public art installations to the
neighborhood, offer professional workshops for artists, strengthen the network
of artists in the community, and work with local businesses to collaborate and
support the arts. Gowanus is a very
special place and we want to make sure artists remain here far into the
future.
