Solid Ground (formerly Fremont Public Association)

Solid Ground is a non-profit social service agency serving clients living in King County of Washington State. We operate 27 programs which range from providing housing, conducting nutritional cooking classes, advocating for those living in long term care facilities, providing transportation for elderly and disabled persons and working on public policy initiatives.

Solid Ground works to achieve a just and caring community free from poverty, prejudice and neglect by:

-developing creative and effective responses to the needs of disadvantaged people;

-providing human services in a manner that promotes human dignity; and

-advocating for policies and infrastructures that increase opportunities and resources for all people in need.
