Connecting people with Arizona's government – past and present

The Arizona Capitol Museum is housed in the 1899 Territorial Capitol, and is the oldest portion of the current State Capitol complex. Four floors of exhibits tell of Arizona's path to statehood, and the how its government has evolved over the decades. Featured artifacts and exhibits include the flag carried by Teddy Roosevelt's "Rough Riders" in the Spanish-American War, the silver service from the USS Arizona, and recreated early 20th Century government offices. Admission and parking are free, museum & store open M-F 9-4, and Sat 10-2 (Sept-May).
