ESTABLISHMENT
Ba Ria Vung Tau University was established under the decision of the Prime Minister N0 27/2006/QD-TTg on 27th January 2006.
Vision:
Ba Ria -- Vung Tau University tries to offer an inclusive and quality education which disadvantaged students in Ba Ria - Vung Tau and its neighboring provinces can access to at the affordable cost. We aim to reach out to all of the layers of the society to bring up education level which is expected to better living condition and life quality of people. The school set the goal to become the biggest commuity education institute in the region.
MISSION
BVU's mission is to train the human resources in the areas of economics, engineering and modern technology with an emphasis on marine technology, scientific research and technology transfer. It is also expected to build up international cooperation network in order to keep up with training standards in the region and all over the world. The University is mandatory to improve the workforce for the industrialization and modernization of Ba Ria Vung Tau province and its neighboring provinces.
