The Virginia Health Care Foundation is a public/private partnership focused on making primary health care more available to uninsured and medically underserved Virginians. It accomplishes this by providing funding and capacity building support for local medical and dental services; by helping seniors and uninsured adults obtain free prescription medications via THE PHARMACY CONNECTION software; by promoting enrollment of Virginia's children in the state child-helath insurance program, and by offering loans to medical and dental providers wishing to provide new or expanded services in medically underserved areas across the Commonwealth.
