Beyond 12

Beyond 12 is a technology-based service nonprofit whose mission is to dramatically increase college persistence and graduation rates for low-income and first-generation students. Through a longitudinal student tracking platform and a personalized student coaching service, we help high schools and colleges provide their students with the academic, social, and emotional support they need to succeed in higher education and in life. Today, we have validated our business model, confirmed that we are solving a meaningful problem, and demonstrated our ability to build a sustainable organization through earned revenue. We have an operating budget of $4.2 M, 28 full-time staff, and offices in the San Francisco Bay Area and Atlanta. Since our founding, we have coached more than 7,000 students and are currently tracking the postsecondary progress of over 45,000+ students on over 180 different college campuses.
