Founded in 1948, FIUTS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to enhance international exchange and build international understanding through friendship. Based at the University of Washington, FIUTS links international students from across campus to each other as well as the community beyond the University of Washington. As stated in the organization's mission: "At the intersection of the University of Washington and our community, FIUTS inspires lifelong engagement in experiences that build global understanding."
