The Lupus Foundation of America, DC/MD/VA Chapter, formed in 1974, is the only force in the DC-area devoted to solving the mystery of lupus-one of the world's cruelest, most unpredictable, and devastating diseases-while giving caring support to the 80,000 that suffer from its brutal impact. We improve the quality of life for all people affected by lupus through programs of research, support, education, and advocacy.
