Five Smooth Stones Foundation is an educational non-profit enterprise established to imagine, create and deliver world-class educational opportunities to a generation of boys and young men living in Baltimore City.

The Baltimore Collegiate School for Boys is a project inspired and developed by Five Smooth Stones Foundation, Inc. to interrupt business as usual in urban education by preparing boys of color for academic success in college. Plans are underway to open Baltimore Collegiate as a public charter school in Fall of 2013, beginning with 4th, 5th adn 6th grade boys and growing each year to the 12th grade. In close partnership with the University of Baltimore, Baltimore Collegiate will become the first single gender early college high school in the nation, with students earning college credits while in high school. Baltimore Collegiate will challenge students to work hard and prepare----through a rigorous path of learning and social development----for college and life beyond college.
