America SCORES Chicago strives to empower students in urban communities using soccer, writing, creative expression, and service-learning. With teamwork as the unifying value, America SCORES Chicago inspires youth to lead healthy lifestyles, be engaged students, and become agents of change in their communities

Our Success

Through our award-winning program, students build camaraderie on the field, and then transport that confidence and support into the classroom. Here they develop their own unique voice through poetry and creative writing. Finally, the teams learn to use their combined voice to create change, working together to create service projects which positively impact their community. America SCORES gives kids the means and the motivation to develop healthy minds, bodies, and communities.

Get Involved

Throughout the year, America SCORES has a variety of volunteer opportunities, special events, and fundraisers which let you support our mission through your talents, your time, and your resources.

Volunteer opportunities can be one-time, ongoing, or company/group volunteerism. Opportunities include serving as an assistant writing or soccer coach, refereeing, helping set up or take down fields.

Special events include poetry slams, neighborhood festivals

Fundraisers include FoosCup foosball tournaments, the Red Carpet Poetry Slam, happy hours, SCORES Cup corporate soccer tournament, and the Inspired Art Project and Auction.
