The NCSC was founded by the Bonder and Amanda Johnson Community Development Corporation. We provide social services and are a Community Outreach Site for the Arlington County Department of Human Services. The NCSC strives to alleviate the barriers to self-sufficiency and connect residents to social services and County assistance. We also provide supplemental grocery items for families, as a host site for Arlington Food Assistance Center's (AFAC) food distribution program. The NCSC provides services in the areas of employment, financial stability, education, and housing. There are also tutoring and mentoring programs currently being developed.
We are always looking for volunteers for our weekly food distribution, youth programs and special events. Call 703-229-5650 or email info@bajcdc.org for information.
As we develop more programs and continue to help the community, donations are needed. For more information on how to donate, please visit the website:http://bajcdc.org/donate-to-bajcdc/. For donations through the United Way: United Way of the National Capital Area #8050, Combined Federal Campaign #93916, Combined Virginia Campaign# 8028.
