Green LA brings together a diverse network to win progressive policies and advance innovative practices to move Los Angeles toward a just and sustainable future. Green LA expands the influence of over sixty active organizations by joining their efforts by combining grassroots activism and forging partnerships with City Hall.
To green Los Angeles, our members are facilitating policies and improving city practices. Green LA's four advocacy campaigns include: 1) Investing in LA's Water Future; 2) Living Streets LA- Streets for People; 3) Increasing Urban Parks & Open Spaces; and 4) Greening the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. In addition we are a founding member of the Alliance for Community Transit-LA to ensure equity and community engagement in development around transit.
