Founded in 1991, Chicago Cares is a not-for-profit volunteer service organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for people who live and work in Chicago by addressing the critical human service, educational and environmental needs of the city through offering individuals and groups the opportunity to participate in flexible community service projects.
