Seattle Tilth inspires and educates people to garden organically, conserve natural resources, and support local food systems in order to cultivate a healthy urban environment and community.

Programs include adult classes on sustainable food production, beautiful demonstration gardens in Wallingford, Issaquah, Rainier Valley and Mt. Baker neighborhoods, the very popular Children's Garden, the Master Composter/Soil Builder Program, the Garden Hotline, Community Kitchens Northwest, Rainier Beach Urban Farm, and numerous events and classes including Edible Plant Sales, Chicken Coop and Urban Farm Tour, and more.
