The Women's City Club of New York (WCCNY) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit civic organization that shapes public policy through education, advocacy and citizen participation.
Since its founding in 1915, the WCCNY has worked tirelessly to achieve policies of fairness, equity and inclusion for all New Yorkers. Utilizing the talents and expertise of its more than 500 volunteer members, it identifies current and emerging trends, draws insights from research and policy analysis, develops informed positions aimed at educating and empowering the public, sponsors forums for discussion and debate, generates local and broader strategies to activate, motivate and formulate effective solutions, and works in partnership with coalitions and groups to strengthen its efforts and pressure the body politic.
