Description

Grameen Health Innovations (GHI) was created to cost-effectively improve the health of Grameen America members in New York City. Since 2008, Grameen America (GA), our sister organization, has brought affordable credit, savings, and other financial services to more than 10,000 low-income women entrepreneurs in New York City and elsewhere. Of these, 99% are paying back their loans on time. Through a combination of better access to primary care, wellness programs and health education, GHI aims to reduce the prevalence of chronic conditions and empower GA members with the tools necessary to make healthy lifestyle choices and adopt life-long healthy behaviors.
