Description

The Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia is both a well established membership organization and a dynamic educational and training institution. It is the local Affiliate Society of the American Psychoanalytic Association. Through its corps of dedicated volunteer faculty it offers both formal training programs for post graduate students of traditional and modern psychoanalysis, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and psychoanalytic thought as well as seminars, workshops and presentations for the general community. It is authorized to award Continuing Medical Education credits for physicians and Continuing Education credits for other social service and mental health professionals. The Center is located in East Fairmount Park in an historic nineteenth century home specially adapted for re-use as office and classroom space.
