NEI Ltd, a new social enterprise, aims to establish a sustainable vanilla and flavours industry in Tanzania, working in all areas from cultivation, to curing, to flavour processing and to international marketing. Our supply chain involves over 400 farmers on Mount Kilimanjaro and 700 farmers on the Lake Victoria highlands. USAID has funded NEI due to our large socioeconomic impact on smallholder farmers.
