The International Institute of Connecticut is a community based non-sectarian, social service agency founded in Connecticut in 1918 to assist immigrants, refugees, and their families. Yearly, the International Institute of Connecticut provides services to approximately 5,000 clients from its four offices in Bridgeport, Stamford, Derby and Hartford.
The purpose of the International Institute of Connecticut is to help new Americans become self-sufficient, to ensure that low income persons in Connecticut have access to affordable immigration services and to strengthen families by helping them to obtain US citizenship and reunite with family members. The IIC also provides a wide array of services to foreign born victims of trafficking, domestic violence, and other forms of crime.
Whether you are a new American seeking immigration advice, a refugee seeking social services, or service provider seeking technical assistance - the IIC is here to help!
