The mission The "VO-FAIR" (short for volunteering fairly) is to assure transparency in the world of international volunteering in the South America (first in Chile, then Bolivia and other countries) and globally.
Goals:
• to create a list of fair and verified volunteering projects in South America (& to meet this goal to create a network of good people working as verifiers of the projects) • to allow small NGOs and charities to promote their projects • to assist potential volunteers in finding the best fitted projects to their interests and skills • to offer free help to hosting organizations to improve their operations related to volunteers • to provide a common space for those willing to volunteer and the current and ex-volunteers, the VO-FAIR website being the place of information´s exchange, alerts about unreliable projects etc.
