The vision of the Bronx Clergy Criminal Justice Roundtable (BCCJR) is to promote human justice utilizing a restorative, holistic approach to empower those involved in the criminal justice system toward sustainable family and community reintegration. The BCCJR developed as a subgroup of the Bronx Clergy Roundtable (BCR) to respond to the specific challenges related to the growing proportion of the population coming into contact with the criminal justice system.
The Bronx Clergy Roundtable (BCR) formed as an action coalition of over 400 faith-based and community-based organizations that work in collaboration with local leaders, government agencies, corporate partners, foundations, and community members to address the multitude of complex issues facing historically underserved communities in the Bronx.
