Heifer International is a nonprofit, humanitarian organization committed to ending hunger and poverty and caring for the Earth. We pursue this mission by providing livestock, seeds, trees and training in animal well-being and environmentally sound agricultural practices to families in need in more than 40 countries, including the United States. Our Chicago office helps school, faith and community groups get involved locally to support Heifer's global mission.
