    Focus on Youth helps keep disadvantaged youth engaged with their education by providing free photography classes and mentoring. We’ve put cameras in the hands of hundreds of low-income teens in the Portland area for the past eight years.

    We provide a supportive place of learning and artistic expression, while fostering a sense of belonging and self-worth in the at-risk young people we serve. This past year, 100% of Focus on Youth students stayed in school and on track to graduation.
