The National Lawyers Guild is a not-for-profit organization of lawyers, law students, legal workers and jailhouse lawyers committed to using the law to protect individual rights. Since its founding in 1937, the Guild has provided legal support to a wide range of legal and social movements in the United States and internationally. We conduct community organizing, education, legal support and litigation on a range of issues, such as mass defense, labor and employment, corporate accountability and human rights.
