MassIMPACT (IMproving People's Access to Computer and Technology) represents a vision for maximizing the benefits and usefulness of information technology and related media. When people come together for the purposes of idea exchange, experience sharing, collective thinking, proactive planning and applied innovation, the results are positive and the potential outcomes are infinite. This process is the paradigm for increasing the use and effectiveness of digital technologies in a manner that uses information and images to educate and empower communities across Massachusetts.
MassIMPACT's mission is to facilitate a collaborative effort amongst Computer Technology Centers that enhances site capacity, maximizes use of computer technology by local residents and encourages information exchange and skills transfer as a core strategy for long-term operational viability, community responsiveness, innovation and entrepreneurship.
