Poly Prep Country Day School

Founded in 1854, Poly Prep Country Day School's mission is to prepare and inspire the next diverse generation of leaders and global citizens to act with intelligence, imagination and—above all—character.

Poly Prep operates two campuses in Brooklyn, New York. Drawing on many of the best and brightest from virtually every borough of New York City, the school focuses on outstanding teaching and academic excellence for approximately 1,000 students from Nursery through 12th Grade. Our Lower School, grades Nursery through 4, is located in an award-winning, landmarked, LEED-certified ("eco-friendly") building in Park Slope. The Middle & Upper Schools, grades 5 through 12, are located on a college-like, 25-acre campus in Dyker Heights.

Our free bus system, a vanguard commitment to financial aid, and a belief in the power of difference in creating powerful learning communities for students, ensures that Poly is economically, socially, and ethnically diverse.
