CFED is a multi-faceted organization working at the local, state and federal levels to expand financial access and opportunity. We see abundant evidence of the desire and ability of middle and low-income people everywhere to become savers, investors, homeowners, skilled workers and entrepreneurs. Originally known as the Corporation for Enterprise Development, we work to promote asset-building strategies that bring together community practice, public policy, and private markets in new and effective ways.
