Our Mission

To locate, nurture, promote and transform the quality of life of orphans, vulnerable children and youth everywhere – one child at a time.

We carry out this mission by caring especially for those children of parents with disabilities through practical support; mobilizing resources to address critical issues for holistic child development, to advance their rights and give them a brighter future, for self-reliance and meaningful citizenry.

We work toward this mission by utilizing a child-centered and holistic approach to sustainable development, systematic integration into families and continued education.

Our Goal

Improved quality of life for Orphans, Vulnerable Children and youth in Sierra Leone and the United States of America through education and holistic support systems and community / family integration.

As part of our efforts, Thou Shall Eat Foundation sponsors the integration of these children (orphans) into loving families so as to give them a brighter future and a strong sense of belonging. We also support school feeding programs designed to help targeted orphans, HIV/AIDS orphans and other at-risk children through the creation of school feeding/ retention programmes, provision school fees, clothing and other learning materials designed to help these children complete their primary, secondary and university education like all other children. Thou Shall Eat Foundation, also known as TSEF, operates in the slums and provincially neglected areas of Sierra Leone. Founded in 2009, T.S.E.F is an orphans/vulnerable children and youth support and integration organization that is designed to increase the independence, empowerment and educational opportunities of OVCS. TSEF also provides support for its children through training, referrals, support groups and informational materials. TSEF uses newsletters, networking, awareness raising campaigns, phone support and conferences to advocate for abandoned and exploited children, child-survivors of various disasters and civil war and in communities devastated by HIV/AIDS.
