The purpose of Hearts of Gold is to reimagine the future of homeless mothers and their children, together.

Our efforts provide goods and services for homeless mothers and their children, while they are in residence at city shelters as well as after they move on from the shelters. For over 20 years, we have been offering a holistic approach to which encompasses education and the necessary resources to address the needs of the female headed family unit and offer ongoing support in various ways. We work in partnership with three NYC shelters to service the needs of these moms and their children. Our programs include, Learning Centers for the children Job training for the moms, educational scholarships to support higher educational opportunities for the moms as well as summer camp experiences for the children.
