About Us

Our Mission

To support the efforts of refugee women and children to achieve self-sufficiency in the United States by providing education and economic opportunity.

Programs at a Glance

Our Women's Program focuses primarily on education. We conduct workshops and courses on topics ranging from fire safety and maternal health to financial literacy and career guidance. We also conduct individualized case management and domestic violence prevention and intervention.

The Youth Services include a Pre-K, an Afterschool Program, a One-to-One Tutoring Program, and the Young Women's Leadership mentoring program. Our focus is assisting recently arrived refugee youth to catch up in the English language as well as academics.

There is a great need for these services in the community. Atlanta receives 1,000's more refugees from all over the gobe each year. We depend on our volunteers to help us carry out our mission.
