The Criminal Justice Policy Foundation helps explain the criminal justice system to the public and journalists. It advocates solutions to criminal justice problems. It recognizes that American drug policy fails to control drug availability and abuse, and dominates the criminal justice system with arrests, prosecutions and imprisonments. Current drug policy is creating more crime around the world than an effective policy would.
CJPF advocates for the most effective policing strategy: community oriented policing.
