GirlStrength and WomenStrength are violence prevention programs operated through the Family Services Division of the Portland Police Bureau. Our programs strive to foster awareness, demystify fear, and empower girls and women to be strong and confident. By offering free holistic self-defense classes in all major geographical locations throughout Portland, we aim to remove barriers and make violence prevention training available to all women and girls.
